Think of something red

A sparkling ruby,
A yummy strawberry,
Or even a poppy.

Red is apples,
Red is stop signs,
Red is sun rays.

Red has the brightness of the day.

Red is like my feelings of hope on a hot day, that make my fingertips boil.

Fireworks

On Wednesday the 5th it was guy fakes.

My mum and gave us a surprise by bring home a huge box of fireworks.
My favourite firework was the mixture.
At the end we ran around with gold sparklers.
I had to agree it had been the best night ever!

Our holidays

My holiday in Australia.

On Thursday the 18th I went to Australia.
Our first hotel was called Wings.
It had a nice view of the Gold coast.
On the first day we went to sea world. I went on the pirate ship and the roller coaster.
The day after we went to movie world.Me and my dad went on the Batman space shot.
On the last day at the Gold coast we went up Q1, the tallest building in Australia.
When we got to the Sunshine coast we went to underwater world.We went through the under water tunnel and I saw lots of different fishes.

My holiday at home.

In the holidays we stayed at Christchurch.
My mum wanted to get my hair trimmed up to my shoulder.
On Sunday afternoon we went to the driving range to practise golf,
we use up 3 buckets of balls while my brother went to hagley golf coarse .
At the first week Jessica and Brittney came over to our house and we played badminton .
The second week Lauren and Sarah came over and we karaoke for two hours .
And in the holidays it was so so hot.

Hi!!!
Our names are Brittany and Jordyn.
Today we are going to tell you about Ronald McDonald.
Yesterday he came to visit.
He told us about road safety.
He comes from MC Donald's.
Ronald told us a story about his red and white socks.

Student led conference

Hi!!! My name is Jordyn.
Today I am going to tell you about my student led conference.
My mum and dads names are Rachel and Jeremy.
At the student led conference my mum and dad,helped with my writing and reading.
We worked out what I could do better,I did well.
In my student lead conference I showed my parents how to do a blog.
I also showed them the medal table.
Did you now that China won the Olympics?
They won with 51 gold medals!Wow!!!
USA came second and Russia came third.
New Zealand came 19.(That's really good)
Well anyway my student led conference was a great success
